The poppy red in the online photo was more bright, than it was in reality. Which works for me.
I wasn't 100% about purchasing the bag, but the review by "Moi" did it - where she said it was a good mom bag, without looking like one!
This made sense to me - I need a practical, weather-resistant bag that can pack a lot, yet be sensible -- not bulky. If you have many details to carry, this bag will be of interest. Lots of compartments, zippers, pockets. Even a spot for keys, pens, and a side pocket. It also includes a change purse.
I honestly don't have any complaints about this bag.
I'm new to having a bag with a metal closure in front, but am open to seeing if it works in the long run for me.
Roomy!
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Simple, Good Value, Reliable
Cons: great bag but prefer other stitched red design

I love this bag/purse/carry-all! I bought it before we went to Disney World, and had intended it to be for my things, as we already had a Transit 6 Shoulder Bag for all of the kids' stuff. Wow! I love this bag!
It has 3 small zippered pockets (one on the exterior flap, one on the outside underneath the exterior flap, and one on the inside). The main compartment also zippers shut, which I appreciate because I have a tendency to drop my purse!
The exterior flap stays shut by way of a magnet. I wasn't keen on this at first, but I have grown to love its ease of use—zip the main compartment shut, flop the flap, and off you go!
In the main compartment there are also three individual spots for pen/pencil/narrow lip gloss, as well as a small pocket (not zippered) for bigger things (I currently have 2 lip balms, an emery board, two "points" cards, a button, and some dental floss...to give you an idea of the space that's available).
Have I mentioned that I love this bag?! This really has turned out to be everything that I had hoped for. In fact, I have abandoned my Travel All Shoulder Bag for this one as my "all the time" purse. It holds everything I need, and then some!
I use it for me, but when I'm out with the kids, there's room to add 2 juice boxes, 2 snacks, wipes and emergency suckers—without having to take out any of my things (card holder, coin purse, cell phone, pens, pencils, lip balm, dental floss, car keys, work keys, note pad, etc.).
The shoulder strap adjusts like a hot knife through butter—smoooothly. Wear it on one shoulder, or easily lengthen the shoulder strap to wear it like a messenger bag. Oh! And that reminds me! There's this cool little pocket along the side of the bag. It's perfect for sunglasses!
What can I say? This is a perfect Mom purse that doesn't look like a Mom purse! Thanks for offering this, MEC!!
