It's been a few years since I have rode. My WTB seat was painful and rubbing on my butt bones. This seat offers good cushion. I ride without bike shorts.
Pros: Rugged
Cons: Expensive

If you're just starting to cycle you will need to get used to any seat so don't discard the seat right away. This is a good affordable seat.
