This is a really good, simple heart rate monitor. I had a Polar heart rate monitor for years, until it died, and then was shopping for another one. For the price, this one does much more than the Polar models in a similar price point. Easy to use, comfy to wear (even for a girl) and when I had an unexpected glitch with it 18 months later, MEC exchanged it with no hassles. Can't get better than that!

This product is simple to use.
It is very easy to read and compared to heart rate monitors on exercise machines is quite accurate.
Chest strap is comfortable and easy to adjust.

M-1 HR monitor very good unit

Have used HR monitors fro Suunto for years(Marathon runner since 1999)
Had an unexpected hear attack in March 2011.
This M-1 give a good basic display,especially the heart rate nice and large(which is my primary interest)
The unit also gives duration of run(or walk in my case) and calories.Set up is real easy,age,height,weight...
Records up to 15 days of info and gives a summary or individual days.
