Love This Pack!
Date:April 24, 2012
I tried on this pack and it was the most comfortable pack i've ever put on, I had to have it! Its been through war on bus trips and through airports and I can say it is incredibly tough. It packs up nicely and you can remove the hip belt which is great for traveling! I also love how this pack is like a suitcase with the zipper than goes all around when you lay it down! Sometimes, because the hip belt is on a swivel, it tends to squeak, and falls off (if not kept greased and put properly in place). However, the hip belt swivel system is really nice when hiking and the pack seems to move with you and not against you! To sum it up, when I (110pounds) can carry 50 pounds of climbing and camping gear around the world on my back comfortably, I am very impressed!
Pros: Rugged, Reliable, Comfortable

Super Awesome Pack!
Date:May 26, 2011
I have used a couple different packs over the years and this is by far the best one! It is a little pricier than other packs on the market but it is worth every penny! I've taken it on mountain treks, European tours, and multi-month SE Asia/Australia holidays. I love the detachable lid; it works great for day hikes. I have never used a waterproof cover and my gear stays dry even in torrential rain. I love all the compartments and full-length zips and my favorite feature is the amazingly comfortable hip belt. One thing I wasn’t too terribly excited about when I first purchased it was the fluorescent green color, but it’s easy to spot and I never confuse it with anyone else’s! Overall, I am super impressed!!

Amazing pack! Fits way more gear than I expected. Top and side access, water bag compartment, and front outer pocket to carry things like rain gear that need to be easily accessible. Very comfortable to wear carrying 40+ lbs for 10 hours a day, day after day.
Pros: Lightweight, Good Value, Reliable, super comfortable
