SealLine SealLine HP Map Case

Tough and waterproof roll closure map case that's splashproof and has a temporarily submersible seal. It also has four tie-down tabs that let you secure it to the deck if you like.

What I wanted

Date:February 17, 2013
I wanted something to replace the big ziplock bag I use for my maps when I go canoeing. This is a good size and works as described. It's a bit of a pain to seal but once it's in, it's in.
Pros: Good Value, Reliable
Cons: Complicated

Put my map in here on a 7 day 100km portage trip, it was raining, it fell in the water a couple times, kept my map nice and dry. No problems.
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Simple, Good Value, Reliable

HP Map Case for IPAD

Date:November 27, 2010
I am doing some research on the use of the IPAD in the field for the Emergency Services. I wanted to ensure that the IPAD was safe from the elements and researched the map case as the ideal candidate. Worked perfectly.
Pros: Good Value

Perfect for the job

Date:June 9, 2010
I bought this for a month long cycle touring trip of Scotland and Wales. Its purpose? Keep my maps dry and handy. It did exactly that (you could submerge it in water indefinitely). In addition, its extremely light and flexible. To my surprise, despite being made of thin plastic, I wasn't able to rip, tear, or otherwise ruin it. I bought the smallest size available, and I think its a good size for maps the average cycle tourist would use. I hope to be using it for years to come!
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Good Value
