simply put you can't beat this pump at this price, metal construction lets it hold up well to the cold of discharging all that CO2
Screws onto either valve type easily and has an excellent knob that allows for very fine control of pressure in comparison to other co2 pumps. this has saved me fromi walking on many occasions.
Pros: Simple, Good Value, Reliable
Cons: finite air supply

Excellent little pump
Date: July 28, 2009
For years, I have never bothered to carry around tube, leavers, wrench and pump because the key ingredient to that set, the pump, have always been terrible. I've never found a mini hand pump that worked worth a darn until this little guy.
Inexpensive, compact and easy to use.
I pumped up two tires (700x23), one to 80 psi and the second to 60psi off of one cartridge.
No struggling on the ground, trying to hand pump your tire up enough to limp home. With this pump, filling the tire with air goes from being the slowest to the fastest part of changing a flat.
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Simple, Good Value, Reliable

Works Great
Date: June 22, 2009
I had an AXIOM inflator that I bought at a bike shop for twice the price that didn't work very well. I bought thislittle Red Zepplin inflator for $9 and it works perfectly.
Screw it onto the tire valve, then turn the knob. Thats it, no leakage. It instantly fills my 26x1.75 tire to 50 PSI.
Pros: Simple, Good Value

Need a quick fix?
Date: June 5, 2009
Had to use it for the first time yesterday evening, and it worked like a charm! Quick way to fill up a spare when you're out on the road. Some suggestions (found in other reviews as well, but they're worth repeating):
- 1 CO2 tube will get you enough pressure to get to a gas station pump (maybe 25psi in a 26" tire)
- WEAR GLOVES! The entire unit was frosted when I finished. Am I ever glad I wore my gloves!
I managed to fit the unit and 2 CO2 cartridges in the same packaging as my MEC inner tube: FANTASTIC!
Pros: Good Handle, Rugged, Compact, Easy to pump
Cons: Heavy

Well Made Inflator
Date: April 22, 2009
This is a really well made product. Its small enough to fit into a portable repair kit and it has enough pressure to pump a tire up to about 90 or so psi depending on the size. It has a metal fitting which screws onto your tire valve which prevents most leaks - and it inflates fast.
Pros: Rugged, Precise, Easy to pump
Cons: NONE

You'd want the variable output
Date: January 12, 2009
I wanted a frame mount bag to keep all the stuff that I should have with me while biking (I don't have the room under the saddle), so I have to give up the frame-mounted bike pump.
So I got a pinch flat with sidewall damage, and the variable knob allow you to put enough air without dumping the whole cartridge. Like others have said, bring at least 2, in case of unfortunate conditions are making it tough to locate leaks in the tube, or in operating the inflator.
Pros: Precise, Easy to pump

Works for me
Date: September 4, 2008
I got this item after a bad experience with the cheaper Planet Bike Kiss inflator (see negative review for it). This is a precision made item, with a screw on (not push on) brass fitting for the valve stem and two o-rings. It inflates 700x23 road tires to 100PSI (not quite the 120 claimed) almost instantly. As other reviewers have mentioned, the control knob allows you to pre-inflate the tube slightly to locate the leak. Product packaging and instructions state that the cartidges should be recycled, but where? [...]
Pros: Precise, Leak proof, Rugged
Cons: Heavy-ish

Love it
Date: June 6, 2008
Commuting home from work recently, I came across a fellow cyclist who had a flat tire. Glad to help, I pulled out my Red Zepplin CO2 inflator (purchased just one week prior) and after a quick check for leaks, went to work. Within a few seconds, the tire was inflated to a reasonable psi and the cyclist on his way. Given the small size of this CO2 inflator (I keep it in a Microwedgie seat bag), I'd recommend this one without reservation to road, city, and mountain bikers as an emergency tool while on-the-go. One of the essentials.
Pros: Fast to inflate, Precise, Good Handle
Cons: BUYING CO2 CARTRIDGES

Worked well, but use caution
Date: June 3, 2008
I bought this unit in lieu of a pump, since I hate frame mounted pumps, and the compact pumps won't fit in my under-seat pack. I got a flat last night, and got to try it out. (Some kind of reverse hubris at work here, I road two years without a pump and was flat free; but flatted two weeks after getting this inflator. Weird)
I discovered two things: i) always carry TWO CO2 cartridges ii) two CO2 cartridges may still not be enough.
It was night, and I could not find the pin hole leak in the tube to put the patch on. I used part of one canister trying in vain to find it. Fortunately the second hand store where I stopped to shop had a 700C tube sitting on the shelf! Unbelievable luck! However, the tire bead popped off during inflation, forcing me to deflate then inflate the tire again. I had just enough CO2 left in the second canister to put in about 40 psi. Had I had a mountain bike tube, I'd have been S.O.L.
Lesson learned; carry patches AND a spare tube.
Also, make sure you crank the cartridge tightly to the body of the unit, otherwise you will leak gas. (I was in a noisy area, and didn't realise it was slowly leaking at first)
The variable output valve was a blessing (the reason I bought this one, and not the cheaper unit)
Pros: Precise

Works very well
Date: September 23, 2007
I finally got a flat and got a chance to test this little guy out. It inflats a tire quickly and with no drama. I really like the pressure control valve, and that the inflator is screwed on to the stem. The inflator gets very cold when it's inflating, so it's nice not to have to hold on to it while it's doing it's thing.
My tire size is 26" x 1.5" and it managed to inflat it up to 46 psi. Good enough to get me home.
Pros: High Quality, Good Value, Durable

VERY WELL MADE
Date: September 6, 2007
I bought this for those emergency roadside flats. It's smaller and lighter than any portable pump. Only downside is having to buy CO2. But since I don't expect to have a lot of flats, I'm sure it won't be too bad.
I haven't actually used it to inflat a tire. But I did test the valve and it seals with no problem. The valve screws onto the stem, so there's no need to hold on to it while it's inflation and there no chance of losing precise air pressure through user error.
I really like the air pressure control knob. Gives you more control than the Air Kiss CO2 Inflator.
The aluminum body seem well made and study.
Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality, Small, Light Weight
Cons: BUYING CO2 CARTRIDGES
