Ordered this online. I did not realize just how thick this beanie was going to be. It is therefor very warm, too warm for daily use. Although, it will be perfect for those bitterly cold days. I found it to be a bit on the large side too, as I have a small head.

I ordered it mostly for style but turns out it is very warm and surprisingly water resistant. Only gripe is that it does not fit under a bike helmet (a fair trade off).
The fact that it was made by fairly paid workers in the Himalayas adds a welcome coolness factor.

This thing starts off tightish, then "grows" to fit perfectly. The wool works great, even when wet. I use it all winter, plus summer/fall camping and apres SCUBA.
Pros: Warm, Durable, Breathable, Lightweight
