Ronson Ronson Refillable Lighter - Piezo

Reliable and refillable, these lighters are also inexpensive. Bring several, so there’s always one in your pocket.

some are good

Date:July 13, 2013
I have bought many and I still have a few good ones from about five years ago which I have refilled many times though I have recently bought more and some did not work well. I use them while camping. Over all I say they are good just some have problems. Test them before taking them with you.
Pros: Simple, Good Value
Cons: sometimes unreliable

Bic is the gold standard

Date:May 19, 2013
Have you ever had a Bic lighter fail? I thought refill would be good but these lighters never make it to that point. When camping I need reliable so I now bring Bic lighters.

lost cause

Date:November 12, 2012
Thought refillable was a good idea, weak flame, and if not igniting, cannot use spark as back up. Go buy a couple of cheap c-store lighters. Cheers :)

Cold Weather = small flame

Date:September 23, 2012
I purchased a few of them a year ago. Last week, when I tried to use them in cool weather (about 5 C in the morning), the flame was very small (flame length was about 3 mm). At home, when it was warmer, the flame length was about 2 cm.
Pros: Good Value
Cons: Unreliable

Great lighter. I have a number of them. Use them camping and at home.
Yes, out of 10 I had some issues with 1 or 2. But fix them in no time (just take some working on it).
Pros: Lightweight, Simple, Good Value, Reliable

Junk

Date:May 24, 2012
The first one I bought didn't work at all. The second worked for a while then crapped out. Not a great thing to have happen on a multiday trip. These are pure junk.
Cons: Flimsy, Unreliable
