This is easy and simple to use even for a newbie to XC skiing such as myself. I have one that I use for grip wax and one that I use for glide wax.
Pros: Rugged, Lightweight, Simple, Good Value, Reliable

STAFF REVIEW
Behold the lowly synthetic cork!
Date:January 5, 2010
I am a huge fan of synthetic over natural cork for waxing skis. Synthetic cork doesn't crumble and break off when polishing wax. Consequently it doesn't get stuck to the bottoms of your skis.
Buy two synthetic corks and label them with a permanent marker. One for topical glide wax and the other for polishing grip wax (yes, polishing grip wax). That way you'll never mix them up and cross-contaminate your glide and grip wax zones.
